Sunday, February 14, 2010...Valentines Day at the Indy Cluster Dogshow ....
Burnie competed for a 5 point major with 17 other wonderful male longhair dachshunds. He showed like a real Pro and came away with the Reserve win...
defeating 16 strong competitors! Way to go, Burnie!
Under Judge Gayle Bontecou, Burnie takes a 4 point Major Reserve win at the prestigious International KC dogshow in Chicago, Illinois on Sat.Feb 27th!
He was bested by a terrific Standard Longhair Puppy bred by Cindy Ruckman.
Less than 30 days later, Burnie takes another Major Reserve win at the Auburn, Indiana dogshow March 13,2010 under Judge Neena Van Camp.
The next day, Burnie takes another Major Reserve under Judge Robert R.Frost.
On May 1, 2010 at Eaton Ohio, Burnie takes another Major Reserve under Judge Richard L. Byrd.
Burnie has obviously matured into a real contender for the big wins!
October 9, 2010...breeder Judge Dr. Edna K. Martin gives Burnie a point as Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex. Thanks Judge Martin!
A snowy, cold Dec 4, 2010 ...Judge Robert R. Frost waited for us to blow into the ring at the last minute....Burnie was wonderful! He moved around the ring with his head up at a brisk gait. He stood for the table exam like a pro!
Judge Frost rewarded Burnie with the Class win, Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Variety! 2 more points towards Burnie's AKC Championship title!
Burnie felt happy and excited to get back in the ring on April 16, 2011.
In competition with 12 other longhair dachshund dogs, he was awarded the
Class win, Winners Dog and Best of Winners by Judge Dr. Robert Indeglia!
This was a 4 point major, Burnie's second one...so now he only needs 4 points
to complete his AKC Conformation Championship title! Great Job Burnie!!!
Burnie competed with 11 Longhaired Dachshund dogs on June 24, 2011at the Popcorn Cluster Dogshow in Valparaiso, Indiana.He was awarded the Class win, Winners Dog and Best of Winners by Judge Francine Schwartz! This was a 4 point major, Burnie's third one...enough to complete his AKC Conformation Championship title!

The following day, June 25, 2011 under Judge Mrs. Muriel Purkhiser, Burnie was awarded Select Dog for his first major toward his Grand Champion title!
